the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Payne CountyGR6.
Founded December 12, 1884 it was the first settlement in the
Unassigned Lands.

97°4′7″W (36.121538, -97.068537)GR1, 50 miles
North Northeast of Oklahoma City.
